I get genuinely hyped when I think about the future of business—especially the bold, intentional moves we’re making at HUESKINB, our unapologetically Black-owned beauty and lifestyle brand. This isn’t just about starting a brand. It’s about creating a movement, a blueprint, and an ecosystem that prioritizes and centers melanated women and girls. Period.
It’s crucial that our brand doesn't just include us—it must be built by us, for us. We’re not here to be tokenized or reduced to a campaign hashtag. Our brand is rooted in authentic representation and economic empowerment. We are committed to honoring the brilliance, beauty, and depth of the most marginalized—Black women and girls.
For generations, we’ve been expected to settle. Mainstream brands profit off of our creativity, aesthetic, and influence, all while failing to reinvest in our communities. This trend has kept us locked out of true ownership and generational wealth. That’s why HUESKINB exists—to shift the power. To build a new standard for what a Black-owned beauty brand can be.
At HUESKINB, we’re not just participating—we’re disrupting. We’re building a brand that reflects who we are and uplifts our community economically and culturally. We’re putting money back into the hands of Black women in business and creating a legacy that lives beyond trends. Our goal is to help build an economy where empowering women and girls isn't a marketing ploy—it’s the mission.
