A call to unlearn the performative systems we've inherited and root our business practices in truth, humanity, and soul-deep impact.
We’re not here to recreate what already exists. HUESKINB isn’t just another beauty brand — it’s a call to reimagine business itself.
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on just how harmful today’s business systems really are. We rarely question them. Rarely challenge them. And almost never change them. But what if that’s the very reason we’re stuck in cycles of harm, burnout, exploitation, and disconnection?
Let’s be honest — most of us are still maintaining systems that aren’t built for us, systems that weren’t designed with our wellbeing, community, or future in mind. And because we’re not addressing the root — the actual foundation of how we define and do “business” — we just keep perpetuating the same problems in prettier packaging.
Here’s the truth: Every system is failing. And in that failure, I see massive opportunity — not just to make money, but to build something different. Something that actually serves us. Something that heals, not harms.
This isn’t just about launching another company. It’s about asking deeper questions:
Why do we keep trying to “win” inside systems we know are broken?
Why is success still measured by competition, extraction, and individualism?
And why do we celebrate doing “better than others,” instead of doing better for each other?
Even in beauty and lifestyle — industries fueled by women — men still sit at the top of most major companies. That disconnect tells you everything you need to know.
We don’t need to play the game better. We need to change the damn game.
At HUESKINB, we’re here to build systems that center humanity, not just hustle. Systems that don’t exploit our time, our labor, or our essence. Systems where success isn’t a competition, but a collective evolution.
Because business can be different. It must be. Especially now.
The world has changed — dramatically. Since the pandemic, since the uprisings, since the deep spiritual and societal reckonings that cracked everything open... we're being invited into a new paradigm. But we won’t reach it by chasing the same tired metrics.
We’re building for the future. A future where women — especially melanated women — aren’t just consumers, but creators of systems that truly serve. A future where entrepreneurship means courage, community, and conscious transformation.
This is the beginning. And we’re not looking back.
